To gather a few previous posts of similar in info on the same subject,

Regarding the fwd Lancia engines - although very similar to the basic Fiat designs in each era, Lancias all tend to have different camshaft timing.... slightly more middle range torque.... But an important difference to check if considering swaps back into Fiats is the angle at which the Lancia engines are canted over on their mounts.... usually to give a lower bonnet profile, they are about 10 degrees further over... this is enough to drain one of the cam's oil baths out of oil if installed directly into an equivalent Fiat so check carefully.
Guy Croft produced an excellent summary in his book (Modifying and Tuning Fiat/Lancia Twincams pgs 152-7 esp pgs152,153 and tables on 153) on the advantages of uprating the twin cam oil pumps and drives, what Fiat updated themselves, and which goes with what.
